A flavour is rarely a single substance. The aroma compounds are carried in something — and that carrier is an ingredient too, even when it does not appear on a simplified specification sheet. When it is absent from the file, reviewers ask about it.
What our declaration states
- Every carrier and solvent present in the delivered product, named individually.
- The origin of each — plant, synthetic, or fermentation-derived.
- The residual level in the finished flavour as shipped.
- The certificate under which each is covered.
If you already work with another supplier
It is a reasonable question to put to any flavour supplier: which carriers are in this product, and where are they documented? A supplier who can answer in writing saves you a round of correspondence during review.
